CNN commentator Van Jones admitted Thursday that life for black Americans is "worse" under President Joe Biden, whose policies have deflated their hope for a better future.
Speaking about ongoing economic crises, Jones admitted on CNN's "New Day" that there is a "special heartbreak" in the black community because "the pain is more intense."
"The rising gas prices, food prices — it has really walloped the black community in a particular way," Jones explained.
According to Jones, "the hopes were so much higher" in the black community because they flexed their voting muscles in 2018 and 2020 to support Democrats. That support helped Democrats take control of the House in 2018 and the White House and Senate in 2020.
