GOP nominee Donald Trump is leading Vice President Kamala Harris 49 to 46 points in a new, national head-to-head poll. This comes as Harris and the Democrats have attempted to leave behind some of Harris' more left-wing positions she has held to date.
According to the poll from Rasmussen, the three-point lead shows a slight gain for Harris compared to the last set of data from Rasmussen, showing Trump leading 49 to 45. When third party candidates are added to the mix of candidates, Trump comes out on top again at 47 percent to Harris' 45. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has four points with others having about one.
Kennedy is reportedly going to be suspending his campaign on Friday and is considering an endorsement for Trump in the 2024 race. The Rasmussen poll used 1,893 likely voters between Aug. 15 and Aug. 21 with a margin of error of +/- two percent.
