The stories breathlessly detail vacations and gifts, but they consistently fail to produce a single shred of evidence that these relationships have ever influenced a judicial decision. Justice Thomas has since complied with newly clarified disclosure guidelines, but for his critics, the facts were never the point. The goal is to delegitimize him and, by extension, the conservative majority of the Court.
Why They Fear Clarence Thomas
