'Nope': Joy Reid ditches X account over 'abuse,' 'negativity,' 'dreck'

Joy Reid deleted her X account in the aftermath of the 2024 election, and explained in a video that she did not think the platform was "worth it" and claimed that it has become full of "abuse and negativity."

The MSNBC pundit deleted her account and announced her departure from the social media platform on TikTok, saying, "Hey guys, today I did something I've been meaning to do for a while," she said, then panning to a screenshot of her account being deactivated.
