House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries has said that "all options are on the table" in terms of attempting to win back Democratic control of the House in 2026, including redistricting.
Speaking with Punchbowl News, Jeffries said in response to questions on whether the party would attempt mid-decade redistricting in blue states like New York or Illinois in response to redistricting attempts in Texas and Ohio, "All options are on the table when it comes to winning back control of the House."
Jeffries said that Democrats plan to hold rallies, marches, and town hall events in GOP districts across the nation. The New York Democrat said he plans to visit districts in New York, New Jersey, and California, as well as in the Midwest.
