FLASHBACK: Biden FAA official complained in 2022 there were too many ‘white males’ in aviation

Footage has emerged of an official with the Federal Aviation Administration complaining that the Flight Program Operations division was "white male dominated," and asking what could be done to make it "representative of the whole country."

While FAA Acting Deputy Chief Operating Officer Angela McCullough made those comments in April 2022, recent developments in the airline industry have revealed that equity-focused policies are becoming more and more common, perhaps at the risk of passenger safety.
