Tucker Carlson interviewed New York Mayor Eric Adams in a video released on Tuesday, in which Adams admitted that he felt as though he was facing investigation from the Joe Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) because he had opposed the administration’s open border policies.
During the almost 50-minute interview, Adams said on multiple occasions that he felt that his complaints about the Biden border crisis—which would lead to over 7,000 migrants a week seeking shelter in the country’s largest city—made him a target. The mayor also said that he was told he was not behaving like a “good Democrat” by voicing his complaints.
Adams, who faces charges related to accusations that he took bribes from the Turkish government in the form of campaign contributions, flights and hotel rooms, told Carlson that the total bill for the housing, feeding, and general care for the illegal immigrants was at least $6.8 billion.
Having been indicted by the Biden DOJ for political crimes, New York Mayor Eric Adams is sounding a lot like a Trump voter these days.
