As Tennessee lawmakers met for the third day of a special session on redistricting, where the state House voted to pass a congressional map that will likely make the whole state red, Democrat state Rep. Justin Pearson got heated with state troopers, yelling at them and cussing them out after they reportedly took his brother into custody.
Before redistricting voting commenced Thursday, demonstrators were ejected from the Capitol by authorities after the fire alarm was pulled. Chaos ensued as the vote proceeded.
