First Lady Jill Biden released what was clearly intended to be a Christmas video that featured tap dancing, White House halls strewn with decorative cardboard, adults dressed like animals, a man dressed as a flower, and a heaping portion of cringe. Biden said it was a "playful interpretation of The Nutcracker Suite." A woman in a suit wearing a cat mask played air guitar in front of the Christmas tree.
Senior fellow at the Claremont Institute Jeremy Carl discovered that the group that put on the festive display was Dorrance Dance, which holds views that are "anti-white racist, anti-police." The group was founded in 2011 by McCarthur fellow Michelle Dorrance and the dance was choreographed by Dorrance and Josette Wiggan.
